    【島めぐり】東京港～神津島 フェリー＆温泉宿 3日間の旅

    東京港から伊豆諸島の神津島へ旅しました。
    往路の船内で1泊し、島の温泉宿でさらに1泊。
    3日目の夜に東京港へ戻ります。
    乗船したのは東海汽船の「さるびあ丸」。
    往路は「特2等」、復路は「特等」を利用しました。
    往復とも伊豆諸島の4つの島に寄港します。

    なお、「さるびあ丸」は車両を運搬できないため「フェリー」ではない、という見方もあります。
    これについて東海汽船に問い合わせたところ「カーフェリーとの混同を避けるため『大型客船』と称していますが、『フェリー』と呼んで差し支えありません」とのことでした。
    つまり、さるびあ丸はカーフェリーではないがフェリーである、ということです。
    ちなみに、英語圏において「フェリー」とは「渡船」を意味します。
    当チャンネルでは、さるびあ丸を「フェリー」と呼称しますので、ご了承ください。

      Very interesting, thank you. It would be so nice to stay at that hotel for more than one night, it is probably very peaceful. You always show Japan from a new beautiful and unexpected angle.

      This was impressive, exciting— had the feeling it was made just for me. That is a real talent, my friend! All that dazzling line-tossing, especially at Toshima having to use the backhand for the port-side docking. Confused by your caption at 20:32, though, "you cannot disembark at any of the islands along the way". But those 5 minute turnarounds…Wow! That crew was jumping some hoops. And how do they clean that whole ship in 30 minutes before returning to Tokyo? Thanks always for your fine fine work (a fine respite from our political travails in the USA these days.) Arigato beaucoup from stormy southern France! 😸✌🤟

      Thank You, today i feel a deep need to travel in some serene peaceful place ..but Tokyo by night seems so sad…e big coloured stone desert…with so many people like ants all closed in a small place… I was born and raised in a big town, but I was working as it was crazy to buy my own cottage with a garden…Now I live in a suburban area near a forest and I avoid going to the center .. I prefer my small own world… I cannot understand …Japan has some wonderful small villages where it is possible to live near nature ..in the times of the smart working isn't necessary to live in the city…but always more people leave the country to become prisoners… Why? For me Japan is so beautiful with its green landscapes and calm rhythm of country life…cordial greetings and thank You …I love enjoying your travel experience sitting near my fireplace with dogs sleeping on the old sofa near me ..when I finish i could open the door and watch the full moon over my mulberry trees…

      What a cool trip. The Inn you stayed in was so nice. I could just sit in the room and stare at the view for days and not get tired. The room in the way back was so much more comfortable. Private room is the way of travel for sure. Incredible weather with those blues skies! BTW those dock workers with those ropes are good. Thank you for another great trip!🐺
