I’m Japanese (F) and watch some anime like Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, etc. Some anime are for kids but some are for young adults and some are for adults. Maybe not for old folks like over 60s?
By the way, I used to watch American movies/drama but they became so woke and ridiculous, so I stopped watching them. I know many Americans who started watching anime lately are the ones who are fed up with woke Hollywood propaganda. I mean the rise of popularity in anime is caused by the woke American entertainment. Please let your brother watch AOT and Vinland Saga. Check out "Studio Gek" by American guys around your age . They have a reaction channel for anime and also cinema. If you guys were super liberal woke, then I'm sorry.
