I don't understand why so many hateful ugly comments about Arslan. You should not bring rules of your own culture and apply to theirs. Their system is all about strict rules of behavior. You may not like it or agree. I do not like how women are treated there but the change has to come from within not someone from another culture demanding it. I come from a country where women have rights to make their own choices but with that comes education and women being able to support themselves. In Iran in the villages girls are not educated and must rely on their father or anither man for food and shelter. Massouma raising her voice to her father in front of other people on the roof and judging his behavior was disrespectful and wrong. She could have listened to her older brother and asked for permission before wearing the ring. While I love Atlas and feel sorry for her, she was a bit disingenuous. She told Sidaq she didnt know, then she said she told Masouma not to wear it but Masouma did not listen, so she did know and could have been more forceful with her daughter. . Either one of them could have called Arsalan or spoken to him immediately when he got home and avoided the whole mess of Issaq coming and telling Arsalan. I think Arsalan was embarrassed that his wife and daughter disrespected him by putting him in that situation. Yes, agree he should not have pushed his wife but honestly it wasnt a hard shove and he was just saying enough, get away from me. Actually, all this drama could have been avoided if Saleh had followed the rules in the first place.
