広島県江田島市沖美町の砲台山にある日本土木遺産【 三高山砲台(堡塁)跡 】北部側のドローン4K空撮動画です。
森林の中にあるこの場所は、通常であればFPVやGoProなどで撮影するような場所ですが、様々な角度からの映像を伝えるために敢えて空撮用ドローンで撮影しています。

明治時代後期の日露戦争開戦間近、ロシア艦隊の広島湾侵攻を阻止するために2年の歳月を掛け、能美島(江田島市)の北部にある三高山「砲台山」に砲台が建造されましたが、ロシア艦隊が広島湾へ侵攻する事が無かったため、実戦で一発も砲弾を撃つ事なく砲台としての役目を終えました。
第２次世界大戦では無線基地や投射台が設置されましたが、再び大砲が設置される事はありませんでした。
現在も弾薬庫や機械設備庫、巡回監視所といった貴重なレンガ造りの建物が残るこの砲台は、後世に語り継ぐ遺産として日本土木遺産に認定され、「創造の森森林公園」とも呼ばれています。

This is a 4K aerial drone video of the remains of the Mitakayama Battery (Fort), a Japanese civil engineering heritage site located on Battery Hill in Okimi-cho, Etajima City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

The location is too narrow for drone filming, with many obstacles such as trees, so it would normally be shot with a GoPro, but we decided to use a drone to film it in order to convey footage from various angles.

Shortly before the outbreak of the Russo-Japanese War in the late Meiji period, a gun battery was built over a period of two years on Mt. Hodaiyama, a mountain in the northern part of Nomi Island (Etajima City), in order to prevent the Russian fleet from invading Hiroshima Bay. However, since the Russian fleet never invaded Hiroshima Bay, the battery’s role ended without ever firing a single shot in actual combat.
During World War II, a radio base and a projectile were installed there, but no cannons were ever installed there again.
Even today, the battery, with its precious brick buildings such as an ammunition storehouse, machinery equipment storehouse, and patrol observation post, remains, and it has been designated a Civil Engineering Heritage of Japan as a heritage to be passed down to future generations, and is also known as the “Forest of Creation Forest Park.”
