Takanawa Gateway Station is the latest station on the Yamanote Line, opening in 2020. Originally there was nothing around the station, but now construction is underway on a huge commercial complex scheduled to open in 2025.

寂しい駅ですよね、賑やかな副都心品川に隣接しているのに
元々なかった駅だしコロナの影響で企業の都心回帰が進み開発が進まなくなってしまった影響ですね
近隣にオフィスも住宅もない取り残された駅
港区だから一応都心に入るが都心からは遠いし
都心に住む自分もスターバックスや無人コンビニを覗きに行っただけで降りなかった
