Suijō Hachiman Shrine Taiko Drum Dance Festival is held only once every 5 years in the neighborhood of Suijō in Maibara, Shiga Prefecture The event is said to have been started in the early Edō period by local farmers to pray for rain during an extended period of drought.
滋賀県米原市の春照八幡神社（スイジョウハチマンジンジャ）太鼓踊りが2024年９月23日に開催されました。この５年に一度の伝統行事は江戸時代初期に「雨乞い」の為に始まったと伝えられているそうです。
