立山（たてやま）は、富山県の飛騨山脈（北アルプス）北部にある山で中部山岳国立公園に属しています。雄山（おやま、標高3,003 m）、大汝山（おおなんじやま、3,015 m）、富士ノ折立（ふじのおりたて、2,999 m）の三つの峰からなっています。富山県の最高峰であり、日本海に面する道府県の最高峰でもあります。また、日本の3,000 m級の山としては最北端・最西端に位置しています。
日本三名山、日本三霊山（三大霊場、三大霊地）、日本四名山、日本百名山、新日本百名山および花の百名山に選定され、富山県のシンボルの一つとされています。
Mount Tateyama is a mountain in the northern Hida Mountains (Northern Alps) of Toyama Prefecture, and belongs to Chubu Sangaku National Park. It consists of three peaks: Mount Oyama (3,003 m above sea level), Mount Onanjiyama (3,015 m), and Mount Fujinooritate (2,999 m). It is the highest peak in Toyama Prefecture and the highest peak in any prefecture facing the Sea of ​​Japan. It is also the northernmost and westernmost 3,000 m-class mountain in Japan.
It has been selected as one of the Three Famous Mountains of Japan, the Three Sacred Mountains of Japan (Three Great Sacred Sites, Three Great Sacred Areas), the Four Famous Mountains of Japan, the 100 Famous Mountains of Japan, the New 100 Famous Mountains of Japan, and the 100 Famous Flower Mountains, and is considered one of the symbols of Toyama Prefecture.
