      🐰This hot spring has an 840-year history. It was once submerged under a lake but was rebuilt 93 years ago as a ryokan and revived.
      🐰There is actually a land route to the inn, but it’s not maintained, so the only practical way to get there is by boat.
      🐰You can use the public bath if you cover your tattoos with a tattoo cover sticker.
      🐰The room we stayed in used to be reserved for celebrities, but it has recently been opened to the public.

      It's always amazing how loud the cicadas are. The room in the ryokan is huge and beautiful! The view is really amazing! I would definitely try the welcome snack, but I admit that I'm more of a ‘savoury’ than a ‘sweet’ person. I find three toilets a little excessive. However, as a tattoo wearer, I really like the private onsen! I've heard that onsen water is very good for the skin. Is that correct? Thank you for letting us see these pictures! I've put the ryokan on my list of ‘places I want to visit’.
      As for the food… I would be really happy and more than full after a meal like that.
      Which makes me wonder: Why did the blanket rustle so loudly when it was bedtime? That would actually be something that would bother me personally.
      What would be the best time of year to visit the ryokan?
      If you can book fishing equipment… do they cook the fish for you when you catch it or do you release it? I would prefer the first option.
      What exactly did the booked room cost per night (complete)?
